The disk could be defective, or.....you have a little too much of DUST in your Ps2. Now, note, that not all of your games would make noise because of the dust you have in your Ps2. But some.
It happened with my Ps2 too. Not every game gave me a problem, but some did. I had to clean my Ps2.
