Perhaps... It would be nice if a new race was adopted to fit in with the classic Chocobo and Moogle couple (though they should have kept the Moombas!), but I wouldn't go reading anything too specific to the characters portrayed in the concept art. Just have a look at some of the full colour, locale specific concepts for FFX: they look nothing like the actual characters. Its a Maybe, Maybe not situation.

In regards to the forthcoming unveiling of the game, www.gameforms.com have reported the following:

Square Enix representatives have been handing out postcards at the Tokyo Game Show that give additional information about what to expect from Final Fantasy XII's unveiling on November 19.

The unveiling will take place at Virgin Cinema in Tokyo's Roppongi Hills shopping center. Don't expect a playable build, though - the cards only indicated that we would see the game's logo, examples of the graphics, and some (but not all) of the major characters.

sounds an event worth looking forward to, even if it seems like they're really just teasing us with a little information to whet our appetites...
