Thats good news. I was a huge Shenmue fan. Not as much now though. I just couldnt find the time or the patience to beat Shenmue 2. It was a fantastic game.

But a man can only take so much, playing some little plinko game to make a few bucks, running around on foot for ages trying to find people to talk to, reading tons, and tons, of text, and then going to sleep. I need some action..and sadly the shenmue games lack a sufficiant amount of real time battles. If they added that, this series would be ten out of ten quality and a definate must buy.

Even without that game it is pretty damn good. Also, Id like to see a better variaty of jobs to take up. I enjoyed the fork lift job in the first Shenmue. A whole lot more than just picking up the boxes with a partner and moving them 20 feet by hand. That got old after a while. And by "a while" I mean right away.

It baffles me as to why they didnt intigrate the real time battles more. Those were by far the best parts of the game, and they just looked so nicely choriagraphed and cinimatic, it really added to the movie like quality that I like about the game.
