I collected Stamps when my Parents encouraged it... and stopped soon afterwards. In my later Primary School Years, I also latched onto two of the big fads at that time - Pogs (remember those little discs with the orange hairy guy on?) and Football Stickers (the ultimate rip-off activity. You paid some god-damned stupid ammount for a photo of a footballer on a piece of crappy laminated paper, which you stuck into an album. I've never even really liked Football!). Any "recognised" collecting kind of stopped after then (I saw that It was all a bit silly really).
That is unless you're willing to count my Games and Book Collections (Particuarly my Terry Pratchett Paperback Collection - I have about 20 of his 35 or so books. Mostly because they look pretty ^_^)
