I think this one is even better than the map one, maybe because I like the black/red colors more than the sepia one.
The dragon is very good, and I think Arial is perfect for the quotation. For a long text is better using a clear font and for titles and names something more...original

About blending, I think there's no need to blend the images more because they don't have to look mixed together. I think they have to look separated.

Anyway, I liked the idea in general
