Technically he didn't. If you watch the Nightmare series (espically the 6th Nightmare) You know that destroying his body does not work the guy will come back and own you no matter what you do. Plus Jason's a looser, Freddy had the baby crying for pete's sakes.

lol, no way SSSanke, plus I aint seen all of the nightmare series, there both fairy tail horror men, but in the film, you know what happened. (and dose'nt nearly horror guy come back)
