I found a couple release dates, one for PC and the other for PS2. The PC release date is October 28th 2003 and as far as I know has been confirmed while the PS2 date is not confirmed by Square-Enix so it may change, but it says January 6th 2004.
I don't know about PS2, but the PC version will come complete with the expansion, Rise of the Zilart.
