On my bass I love to play (lately);

The Eagles - Hotel California

Ben Harper and the Innocent Criminals - Steal My Kisses

Led Zeppelin - Living Loving Maid and Ramble On

Cream - Swablr and Sunshine of Your Love

The White Stripes - Hardest Button to Button

Red Hot Chili Peppers - This is the Place and The Righteous and the Wicked

Jimi Hendrix - Fire

And since I haven't been playing a lot of violin lately whenever I pick it up I mostly get into Vivaldi stuff.

The songs I picked aren't all really hard although some of them have their parts but I posted them because they're the ones that usually give me great joy to play.

There are just certain songs that make you feel great to play though - I'm only listing songs written by others though. It's always the most fun to write yourself or jam with others.

But like what Fortune said, the mood has to be right as well or else the joy can't really come out.
