Because its mature, its inspiring and cool, you can actually look up to the character designs of half of the anime out there. Stories too, and the way it targets everyones tastes. I love the fact that anime is like its own genre as well. Its unapreciated by some people because of some of animes biggest and most known word of all....Hentai. Its sad though, because this is not EVERYWHERE.
