Oh yeah, I forgot about online.  A good secure place is Amazon.com...they have a lot of anime titles and shipping isn't too pricey. Sometimes though, they have delays but this only occurs if they don't have the item in stock. Or how about AnimeNation? I think you can get DVDs there as well and they're the best known anime merchandise site.
