I dont think its real, but if it is and if the person actually paid that amount for that jar, was because he believed in something. And there are many people who like to take control of "ghost and spirits"....... it just could be one of those people who would wanna try to capture another ghost or spirit. As for the dark thing that comes to harm the person who has it.. there are ways to get rid of that.
But over all, I think someones having a big laugh...or something like that.
