Well, you know, I think that crying is a bit too much. You know, I think those people who stole and tried to sell the shuttle debris were horrible persons (or very poor ones), but this guy isn't doing anything really bad.
It seems of course a hoax, and even the jar looks terribly funny; I find difficult to believe there is someone really willing to pay thousands of dollars for that thing, and in fact the last bidder seems like a fake member (only 1 object in his feedback list), but if there's really someone trying to buying it, it means there is someone willing to believe in it...
And if it's true... that guy is selling a bad curse to the buyer... why on earth should I buy a black blob that tries to strangle me? brrrrrr
Of course, if you follow some kind of spiritist religion, you could be offended by a thing like that.
