They were never making the money they thought they were going to and thus had to shut down, I've heard a couple of rumors were Nintendo might be put in the same situation, but I really doubt that would happen anytime soon but who knows. I also agree that the d cast is a great system and the facts remain the same that sega will prolly never release their own system again...
As for the big N.. Miyamoto has stated that the day that nintendo stops producing its own console is the day that nintendo w/draws from the industry... and i dont forsee that happening any time soon. the Cube is a great system... it just lacks the games support
I love the GC but it is just not having the support it needs.. oh well... i guess i am one of the only die hard NIntendo fans taht believe that they can still be succesfull!
