Final Fantasy: Crystal Chronicles information
Quote:
Nintendo and SquareEnix finished their conference yesterday, and let some details for Final Fantasy: Crystal Chronicles slip out.
Crystal Chronicles will apparently be in playable format at E3. Good news for those wanting to try this out.
The game features four-player abilities utilizing the GC/GBA connectivity features. While one player controls what happens on the screen utilizing the GameCube's controller, up to three others can hook in GameBoy Advances and have access to maps, enemy data, and other information in order to help complete the quest.
Tanioka Kumi, composer of Final Fantasy XI's soundtrack is composing the music for Crystal Chronicles, and full use of Dolby Pro Logic II is planned.
All cut scenes will utilize in-game graphics using the in-game graphics engine.
The game will play in a much more action oriented way over more traditional Final Fantasy titles. Picture it more like The Secret of Mana on the SNES...including combination magic attacks. (YES!!)
First time through the game should give players around 30 hours worth of playing.
Shigeru Miyamoto has had a small hand in the game's design, offering advice to the development team here and there.
Four different characters to choose from.
The story is basically the same for both single and multi-player campaigns.
Well, we'll definitely have more on this title from E3.
