Yes, I've heard about this a while back and I think that with people refusing to play their music, burning their CDs, or flushing it down the toilet (yes, there is this one girl who "claimed" to have done this) I feel that Americans are over-reacting. It is freedom of speech, after all.
However, I agree with goodman that these times are stressful and tense and anyone saying anything about the President would get lashed at. They should've been more careful about their choice of words.
