Oh man, I just saw
Ringu last night without seeing the American version (although I've been told the differences now) and it was probably the scariest movie i've ever seen.
What I liked about it is that it's both very clever, very scary and very engrossing which is pretty necessary for a good fright flick.
The worst part is that right after I watched it the second phone line in our house rang (not in my room) and the buddy of mine that was with me said that Sadako would be smart enough to call in my room, then sure enough my phone rang.
It was dead silent for a second until the "Press one if you'd like to accept the call . . . " message came on.
But, my blood went completely cold for a split second there. It's kinda funny how logic can completely vanish when you let it.
