From a commercial point of view I have to agree, but from an artistic point of view the film festivals of Cannes, Berlin, and even Venice are far more valuable for great "authors".

And I can say only two things about Michael Moore, the winner of "Best Documentary". 1 - He's a great and brave director (Bowling for Columbine is extraordinary) 2 - His words were just what I wanted to hear. I just hoped that among all the sheep going to the awards there was one with the courage to say what he said! Thanks Mike!
