I know what you mean Meryl (about the guy being afraid of rejection), but it just bothers the heck out of me!! I mean... why go on wondering when you could just find out in a matter of minutes!
Like I said before, it wont kill you; unless she's an axe murderer!!
Try not to make such a big deal about asking people out; if they say no, maybe they weren't good enough for you in the first place... maybe you are going to find someone better the next day... maybe /they/ are afraid to be in a relationship and just arent ready!!
There are so many possibilities! So many chances!! SO much HOPE for all you young and afraid people out there!!!
