Well first of all, I just wanna say you should be happy that your dads into video games, parents who have similar interests with thier childeren are rare. But as far as your situation goes, I think it is entirely unfair. How is something being scary going to effect anyone negatively (Cant possibly harm them psysically can it ?) . The worst it could do is maybe (Big Maybe) give you some nightmares. Id just use that argument , try reasoning with him. Say somehting like " The worst it could do is give me some nightmares, im willing to accept that, big deal". And if reason doesent work id say he probably just wants the game for himself tell he beats it, lol. I really hate the Silent Hill games (Level design and controlls are disgusting. Take everyhting good about RE away and hand it some poor visuals and thier ya go) Ahem anywyas.....just dont get too angry with him, its pretty damn cool he is into video games. Or of course he may just be an overptotective parent, thats fairly common, but then again you would know if he was or not eh ?
