Thats exactly what I did, I bought my GameCube few weeks ago, to be with the EVIL series. I got RE1 and RE0. And man RE4 is looking sooooooo beautiful and has mind bending graphics that its not even funny. I was being double minded if I should get a GameCube or not, but after checking the RE4 trailer, I just went in and bought the system. On the trailer, it said "Coming 200X"..... Hmmmmm........which means that the Developer Team doesn't know how long will it take for the game to finish/complete. So they dont wanna make the date official or anything. But I am praying for it to be in Nov 2003. Because "Spring 2004" or anything more would literally kill me!
