For all you Neon Genesis Evangelion fans, I have some information:

In Japan 2003, they will be re-releasing the Evangelion series on DVD digitally remastered with a new telecine and having 5.1 sound to go along.
If you pre-order a sampler DVD from Japan (released on 3/26/03)they will have episode 1 for a sample and have a newly edited full-length intro of Zankoku na Tenshi no Thesis (Cruel Angel's Thesis).

Now, I know this might not be big news since the US already has the DVDs and all, but if it's being remastered in Japan, there might be some extra goodies and surprises to go along. Just a little information for those of you who are able to get raw Japanese DVDs and would like to collect these too.
