on the first few gtas like 1 and 2 if u shot a wall with rocket launcher it would burn (not good looking but still....)
so u mainly just want everything bigger and better? side missions are good, but vigilante does get dull, they should include more happenings like "get into a helicopter here to catch the crook" arrests can be made?
