I'm not entirely sure what the problem is here.
If someone doesn't want to be called stupid, they shouldn't post something that would encourage people to say they are.
At the end of the day, if someone public states that they deliberately set themselves on fire, how are we supposed to respond? 'Oh, well done - how daring of you'...?

Instead of jumping to
