Yes. Believe it or not, we ourselves have control over the decisions we make, unless of course, you're psychotic or something. *shrugs*

However, when you were raised with violent progenitors, violence may come somewhat more natural to you. Still you have the choice to decide whether or not you wish to be violent as they may have been. All in all, I completely believe that you truly have the last word. Whatever you decide to do really does depend on you.

JB : What can I say ? Being optimistic when amidst hard times, is something that is really hard to do, yet it is also a wonderful thing. Personally, I'm way more pessimistic than optimistic. Smiling and laughing after you have just gone though something hard, to me, seems like something that is very hard to do. I can asure you that things, eventually, do get better. You just gotta hang in there .
