heres a trick for leveling up if you don't know it.........from the time you arive in spira and have your first battle till the very end make sure all your charecters perform at least one action(even if it's just to block)....and never run away from a battle unless it's absolutely nesacery
this is my startegy for keeping my charecters at the level they should be.
my best advice for you is just to level up more cause your guys don't sound strong enough.
