There was a game some years ago for the Sinclair ZX Spectrum computer that had nudity in it - however, the name of the game escapes me right now.
Basically it was a platform style game that had topless faeries in it. Now given how non-photographic Spectrum graphics were, I still chuckle at the fuss that was kicked up at the time.
Nudity is
never needed in a game, or a film for that matter (well, unless it's a skin flick!), but that does not mean I don't enjoy it! Hell, the only redeeming feature of Res Evil: The movie was Milla Jovovich showing her nips and flashing her beaver...
Anyway, I digress...
It's hard to say whether nudity belongs in games due to there not excactly being an abundance of it in previous games.
To be honest, the idea of DOA Volleyball having a 'topless' mode sounds like it would be of immense comedic value more than anything - I can see myself and my mates, full of beer, pissing ourselves with laughter while playing it!
Nudity in games? Ah, why not? Can't hurt to see another pair of boobies to add to my repetoire!
