it only costs like 20$, the amount of controller ports on a system should not be THAT obsessed over. I am in no way saying that the XBox sucks, it's an impressive system and it has the potential to go far in the console gaming world, but PS2 is all of that and a bag of chips. I would recommend (sp) getting a ps2, even though it has a few minor shortcomings, it's strengths heavily outweigh it's weaknesses, making it my personal favorite next generation console
