It was a school day when the PS2 launched, otherwise my sister and I would've slept outside of Best Buy like everyone else in my town did.
So, with that plan being out, my sister rushed to Best Buy early in the morning and waited there. There were so many people sleeping outside and when Best Buy finally opened their doors everyone rushed in. My sis was so pissed because when she finally got to the clerk handing out the PS2s, the guy in front got the last one.
She went over to Target to get one, but they were all sold out too. So, then..........later in the day, she and I went onto Ebay and bid like crazy to get one. So, we were able to get our US PS2 on the launch date, but didn't actually get it until a few days later.
