Yeah, this is true, because anime industry needs a certain lenght for each series, so developers need to fill blank spaces. Sometimes this ruins the whole series

Some very long series become repetitive for this reason, because blank spaces are filled with the repetition of the same scheme again and again, some others are not so great when it comes to animation.
