Sorry, I took way too long to get back to this, but here's another lesson.
----------------------------------------------------------------------------------
In Japanese questions are formed by adding a particle to the end of the sentence (many different particles are used to show word relation in Japanese).
The question particle is ka, and is placed at the end of a sentence.
Word order of the sentences does not change, ka is simply tacked onto the end of the sentence to make it insto a question.
Ex.
Yamada san wa gakusei desu ka.
Is Mr. Yamada a student?
-----------------------------------------------------------------------------------
The negation suffix, -masen can be used with ka to make negative questions, invitations, or suggestions.
Ex.
Ikimasen ka.
Don't (won't) you?
Why don't you (we) go?
Tookyoo e kaerimasen ka.
Don't (won't) you go back to Tokyo?
Why don't you (we) go back to Tokyo?
-----------------------------------------------------------------------------------
*Note*
When writing in romaji (Japanese using the alphabet) a question mark isn't necessary to place after ka, because ka makes it a question without having to need that.
-----------------------------------------------------------------------------------
That's all for now.
:p
