I am quite surprised, too. Nobody was expecting that from a player like Zidane. Whatever the reason, it's something that should not happen in such competitions, and honestly it was a very violent and absurd action in general, there's no way you can justify it. Ending a brilliant career like Zidane's like that is a shame
