I couldnt agree with the banning of mothers and fathers day (making it the same as V-day). Ill tell you why.

Valentines is a way of showing the person you love/like that you love/like them. However not everyone has someone. I'm talking about the people that are single and without a bf/gf either. I'm also talking about those people who have lost their loved one due to sickness, dealth, war, or whatever. There is nothing more lonely then being single at V-day or having lost your "other"

Now in the case of mothers/fathers day, everyone has a monther and a father, its the way of life. It could be argued that your mother or father could also pass on, but everyone has a mother or father at some point in their lives. Even if dealth occurs at birth.
