yea, i kinda gotta agree there. Kratos, was already the "Ghost of Sparda" when the game started.
Flashbacks though, are a good way to develope a character if they are done the correct way, i thought GOW did well in this depeartment. I mean the game starts just as Kratos jumps off a cliff. I remember wondering what drove him to such extremes, it was motivation to drudge thru some of the more difficult situations.
