I'm willing to believe that Square-Enix are lazy enough to fall back on the sure-fire hit of a next-gen remake of Final Fantasy VII. Especially as they've done so much work on churning out demi-sequels for the game recently. Seems to me that a PS3 FF7 would be a sort of crowning glory for the franchise they've made. Not that anything they've for it already has exactly dethroned FF7. Or come within 50,000 miles.
