I don't think Sony Santa Monica was going for accuracy with this game, when it comes to the greek myths. It seemed like they took elements from greek mythology and did what they wanted with them.

I don't have a problem if they decided to take some elements of Greek mythology and infuse it within a game in their own creative/unique way, but in a lot of ways, it just feels so...odd to be fighting against such legendary, boss-potential monsters, like the cyclops, as just regular everyday enemies. It's almost like if you were talking to Zeus as if he were just a regular mortal and not a God...it just feels that way...but this is only my opinion. I know a lot of people wouldn't mind this sort of thing, but I guess I just wanted to experience a really challenging fight with Medusa or something.
