DearS is more of a cute series, there are some action scenes but they are most to the end of the series(hope that didn't spoil anything, as it wasn't ment to)
but it's a good anime, and worth watching.
if i were to rate it, i'd probally give it a 7 out of 10.
saying that, i'm really into the cute animes and avoid the all action ones in general now(dragonball /Z /GT can mentally affect you for years, as it's done me
)

love hina, onegai teacher/twins, i my me strawberry eggs, azumanga daioh, chobits.
i have seen all 13 episodes of Elfen Lied and it was good too(abit bloody at start)
currently getting and watching :
Tsukuyomi ~Moon Phase~(good anime, cute, about a vampire girl, the 1st 10 episodes have been subbed by various subbing groups and are still in progress subbing the rest)
Mahou Sensei Negima (another one of Ken Akamatsu animes, currently has 1st 2 episodes subbed, with others on the way)
