I'd just like to inform all of those here about a little manga known as Death Note. Currently my favorite manga as the storyline has lots of twists and turns that keep you intrigued. The art style is very good, and the characters are interesting and well done, especially L. Since I'm too lazy to type a short summary myself, here is one stolen from a site:

Beyond our world exists one that is home to the Shinigami who are "Gods of Death". The manga is currently up to chapter 46 [so it is still on-going in Japan], and I like the series so much that I ordered the first three volumes of the Japanese version off of yesasia.com, since only three volumes are released as of yet, and the cover art was very sexy.
