What I find strange is that FF8's music always sounded better on the PC or PS1... the actual OST sounded completely different to me. FF6's is a tough one... there are some excellent compositions, but the SNES style sounds are a bit discomforting)... but the version that was on the OST wasn't that good IMO.

It's a shame to see him go... I think the quality of the tunes paralleled just how much I liked the games - Perhaps with Uematsu gone, the FF Magic will go with it? (I'll be the first to admit that the series just doesn't inspire me like it did when I first entered this forum... And i'm not as excited about the FF7 sequels/prequels/movie or FF12 as I probably should be).
