Well, what do you know!
I got a chance to come back to this hotel I was last week at, so here I am again.
I say that german keyboards suck because Im not austrian or german nor do I know the language (I try, though) and theres a lot of keys out of place.
Anyway, Ive been having fun so far, but I suppose thats because I havent been in Iraq, yet, lol. It is expected tha I will go next year and spend 12 months over there, but thats if we dont get extended like it happened this year to the unit Im in.
To some of you I stopped emailing because work keeps me extremely busy. I handle a lot of paperwork for the unit which goes from finances to peoples vacation time. On top of that, I am the driver for the Sergeant Major and the Colonel of the unit when their respective drivers are not available. I also have to make a lot of trips to Division for pick up and delivery of paperwork, awards, etc. Its a lot of boring crap.
As I told Meryl a while ago, I do not have internet in the barracks I live at nor do I know when the hell are they going to install it. According to what they say, I will leave Germany before that happens. And the internet access in my office is restricted to educational, financial, and military websties. So thats why I havent been able to come back to the forums.
