Yourself! Fitness
Whoa, Xbox...are they losing sales so badly they have to resort to fitness strategies? j/k
This game (could you call it a game?) is called "Yourself! Fitness" and it's a program designed to make you workout to your "personal" trainer...which is yourself. To make it more clear, the article is below:
"A Trainer to Call Your Own" Shape magazine November 2004
If you or your boyfriend/husband owns an Xbox game system, you can afford a trainer at home. Meet Maya, the virtual personal trainer who stars in a new fitness game, Yourself!Fitness. Start by answering questions about your vital stats and personal fitness objectives, such as improving your cardio or increasing upper-body strength. Then, Maya recommends a program and workout calender. With almost 500 different moves (created in consultation with certified trainers), no two workouts are ever the same, and Maya adjusts the difficulty based on your progress. Other cool features include tutorials to explain the moves, calorie-burn totals at the end of each workout, and a choice of workout enviroment and music genre. You'll also get a meal-planning program with access to more than 4,500 recipes. Yourself!Fitness ($35) is available in stores in October.
This game reminds me of some Japanese games, such as "Aerobics Revolution" where you work out and lose weight and it's a "game."
