It's a great series which I really liked back then. I've never read the manga because...well...it's incredibly long (still running in Japan now  ) and the manga doesn't appeal to me as much for some reason. Anyways, yeah...GetBackers is a cool series up to episode 27/28 but it gets repetitive from there. Haven't finished it though, but it goes on for about 49 episodes and ends there (why not make an even 50, I dunno).
