I actually saw this movie today through, uh... 'unorthadox' means. Needless to say, the film is fantastic, a definately fitting tribute to the first movie (Which I also thought was brilliant).

The effects and fight scenes this time round blew my mind. There's a scene where Doctor Octopus and Spiderman fight on the side of a building, and those few seconds alone speak for the entire movie. Phenomenal.

The plot this time round is held back a little with Peter's life and how hard he's finding it leading two lives. Though I understand the point of this, it bogs down on the actual plot of the film somewhat, leaving the movie feeling a little diluted. The rest of it is great though.

There's some great plot twists and a few suprises, with some incredibly tense scenes. Definately the best film I've seen in the past twelve months. Go see it!
