Hmm.. nope, mine are fine. You realise the game saves your screenshots in your Kotor directory? They're PNG files (Argh) but they're there. You can't use paint or a standard windows viewer to open them, but specialised programs like ACDSee will work. I use Internet Explorer to open them, but you can't right-click the image and copy it to paste it elsewhere, it's awkward. Best to open them, print screen and paste them in paint.
You can manually edit a file to save your screenshots without the hud if you want, though I think you need the latest patch. I've done it and it works great.
