I'm thinking...am I the only one that draws crooked? Doing a couple of sketches of faces, I realized that my shape of the faces are crooked as well as my eyes. I have never drawn using that circle method (where you draw the egg and draw horizontal and vertical lines and draw the face from there) so maybe that's why...

No Meryl, you're definatly not. I can't draw semetrical if my life depended on it. I have treid, where i start with the outline of the head, and put everything in it, trying to make it look the same on each side, and it just looks funky. But when i free hand, it always ends up a little crooked, but it still looks right. it bothers me a lot. Especially with the eyes. And with anime, so much is one the eyes, that to fuck it up is like a crime. But you know what, if you keep thinking about it while actually watching anime, you notice that they are not perfect just the same, and even the character sketches are crooked a bit. So trust me, you're perfectly fine, so don't fret.
