Exclamation Oscar nominees...no anime?!

Doing some research, I found out that there are only 3 films nominated for "Best Animated Feature" for this year's Oscars: "Finding Nemo", "Brother Bear", and "The Triplets of Belleville". But, "Millenium Actress" or "Tokyo Godfathers" weren't included! Am I wrong here or is this true? If so, then why? WHY?! Why the hell is "Millenium Actress" not a nominee? The film came out in early 2003 (around March), so shouldn't it be included? And it's understandable for "Tokyo Godfathers" not to be a nominee since it was released around November/December, so it was a bit late, but I don't understand about the earlier film.

I'm sorry that I seem enraged and infuriated, but I really am. This isn't because I want another anime to win an award, but it's mostly because I hear that "Finding Nemo" is the best film of 2004 and honestly, it's not that good, IMO. Even "Toy Story" was better! I mean, sure, the CG graphics are much better this year and it does look pretty good, but the plot isn't that great and it seems like that's all they care about...visuals! I wouldn't care if "The Triplets of Belleville" won because the film seems marvelous, but to have "Finding Nemo" win? That's just not right. I just can't stand to see an animated film win just due to overrated popularity! (Oh, like, "The Pirates of the Caribbean"!) Ugh! It makes me so angry...it's almost as if last year "Spirited Away" won just because Pixar didn't have a film out last year! Otherwise, "Spirited Away" wouldn't stand a chance or something! UGH!

Please, please someone tell me the reason while I go and squash my rage.
