All very valid points. And what it really comes down to is one simple idea that is prominant all over the world

SEX SELLS

And as was said of course the sexiness is going to be represented and practiced by female characters in video games because its mostly guys that play them..duh.

So are women exploited, yes. And do way too many women accept this exploitation...sure. But its hard to make any progress in the other direction when the biggest american teen icons (Like spears, aguilara, etc) are stripping naked at every concert. Sadly the general movement is towards more exploitation...and more and more females are welcoming it for one reason or another.

And to return to the topic at hand....girls complaining that female charcters in video games are too sexy..is like a man saying that male characters are poorly portraid on the Lifetime network (Womens TV channel) . Not enough would care to get things changed because most men dont watch womens networks just as most girls dont play alot of video games. So bottom line.....to all those femenist gamers out there....GET OVER IT.
