Best ever game

What do u guys and girlz think is the best ever game on any console and why?
mine is ISS PRO 98 on the ps1 because it was so addictive at the time and when you compare it to ps2 football games it still looks better than most of them.

Best game ever? Hmm.... for me, it would probably have to be: "The Legend of Zelda" for NES. Tons of fun, and got me into the whole RPG adventure(even though Zelda is not an RPG) genre.

i havent got an exact firm favourite but it would have 2 b out these three

1.)gta.vice city
2.)zelda.ocarina of time
3.)winning 11 6

its too hard 4 me just 2 pick one of these.

I'm not really sure what my favourite is... the best final fantasy games (ff6, 7 and tactics) are too close, and I'm not sure which one is best (they have strengths and weaknesses in each area... though they all have fairly naff, yet endearing graphics)... and these games are hardly comparable to my PC favorites... heres a top 5 list, more or less chosen at random:

1) Final Fantasy 6 [SNES / PS1]
2) Final Fantasy Tactics [PS1]
3) Homeworld [PC]
4) System Shock 2 [PC... you're as likely to have played it as you're likely to get struck by lightning.]
5) Final Fantasy 7 [PS1]
