Jokes at the telephone
 

Among many other things I have to do at work, I have to pick up the phone and take orders.....

Well, last night I picked it up and they asked me "peanut butter with bread?"

A little confused, I just said "could you say that again please?"

Then again, they asked "peanut butter with bread?"

I just told him/her "I'm afraid you dialed the wrong number" and hanged up XD

Well, a couple of minutes later I picked the phone again, and then a quieer voice said "I love you"

So I replied "I love you too"

The arse asked me "do you want to have sex? "

I laughed out loud and just hanged up since I didn't know what to answer to that :laugh: XD

Now, the point of this thread is just to ask you guys similar experiences to this.... do you like to do this kind of jokes at the phone? Or, like in my case, has it happened to you?

Oh, I know about those, quite annoying. I remember one day I was real pissed off at something (I don't remember what was teh reason, but I was just in a hell of mood anyways)

the phone rang and I picked it up, said "hello?" and no one answered..... I said "hello" again, several times, and it felt like if they were listening but didn't want to say anything... well, I just got so pissed and began cursing them in a way that if you heard me you would be like :shock:

No kidding. But then I told my mom about it, and I got scolded for 2 reasons:

1) For cursing XD
2) One of my uncles was supposed to be calling us by that time, and it could have been him trying to call us but the communication had problems. XD XD

Anyways, who else could tell us something about this? :D

Rei, would you do that to ppl at random, to people you knew, or to a business number?

I've made some telephone jokes. I think most of the people try them at least once in their lives. I picked random numbers and called them, but I wasn't very good at it, because I used to start laughing in the middle of the conversation :P

My best one a long time ago, although dumb was funny at the time. You call someone pretending to have a wierd tonne and ask to speak to Mr. Wall (works really well with chinese english).


They say "you have the wrong number"

you say, "No, Speak to Mr.Wall please"

"You have the wrong number"

No Mr. Wall? Speak to Mrs. Wall then

Listen you have the wrong number,

No Mrs. Wall either? Are there any Wall's there?

NO YOU HAVE THE WRONG NUMBER

So there are no Walls there?

NO

THEN WHATS HOLDING UP YOUR ROOF, DUMMIE? (in your normal voice)


Yeah now thats funny. Well when I was 12 that was really funny. Not so much anymore.


Or call someone to see if there fridge is running and they say yes, so you tell them to hang up quickly and go catch it. Or the classics! Gotta love em!

When I called home from New Jersey, my brother wanted to talk to me and asked me to bring home a pizza for him. After that he put his friend Jason on the phone and he asked if we had a fridge. Is your fridge running? I completely fell for it. It was hill-air-e-us.

i dont usually make joke phone calls. or receive many, but i do get stupid people calling me saying they know me but i have no idea who they are and how they got my number.:disturb:
