nice to see the place up and running

still, even though it's become kind of a ghost town, hope all are doing well who still come to creep!

Hey!!!

This ghost town will stay here for as long as we can!

Thanks for saying hello!

Good to see you around here again Rob!

I still check this place when I have idle moments and just feel like seeing the site again. If I get especially nostalgic, I dig through and read old threads. I've said it before but I still haven't found a forum that made me feel as home and comfortable as this place, the great members here had a lot to do with that.

Making my semi-yearly rounds into the forum and saw this thread. Figured it was the best to reply in. I sure do miss it around here. Some of the forums out there now are so ridiculous. I miss being an moderator and enforcing the rules. So much childishness out there these days.

I miss writing reviews and having playing games mean something. I have lost a lot of desire to play games these last few months. I hope that changes with a new AC game coming out soon.

Sure do miss the old days around here.

Same for us JJ. We miss those days, that was really another era in Internet times. So many forums closing down, in these days, as well - mostly to the advantage of social network.

Thanks so much for visiting and posting!!!

It really just isn't the same as you used to be. You are right social networking has really destroyed gaming forums.

As for me playing games, I just cant get into anything. I bought AC Unity and Farcry for Christmas Presents to myself and I have played about an hour of each and have no desire to keep play.

I even went back to Guildwars 2 for a month only to get bored again.

I sure need Uncharted 4. That just might get me back. Well that and if this site ever rolls again. HAHAHA

Hey everyone.

I agree with everyone that social media has killed message boards. I'm not willing to really convert to social media though because I don't think there's enough privacy, and considering where I work at and my issues within the company, I'd get fired if I speak my mind about it.

Anyway, I'm still gaming, but it's definitely not nearly as heavy as I used to. The older I get the less interested in games I become, and to be honest it's mainly because of the fandom itself, but that's a conversation for another day. I'm still playing Street Fighter 4. Scratch that, that's probably the only game I spend most of my time playing. I dive into the Mass Effect games every now and then, but I'm getting ready to dive back into the Batman Arkham games as well.

I'm waiting for that right moment to get a PS4 (looks like the Batman Arkham Knight will bundle will be that time). No doubt I could've been had one, but bills come first and I want to keep above a specific amount in my bank account. Lots of goodies coming out on it that interested in.

I miss everyone.

Whoa, those forums died, too? Damn. I follow the PSXExtreme account on Twitter. Funny how the site still has the same old layout from all those years ago. But it looks like Ben is still keeping it updated.

Also: Hello everyone! Thought about this site tonight. A indie game called Emily is Away (super short, and pay-what-you-want) got me feeling all nostalgic about the people I used to talk to online. It's about the heyday of AOL Instant Messenger in the early 2000's. Surprised how hard it me. Definitely worth a play if you can relate!
