have a lot of respect for ur ff knowledge, and i think ur probably one of the few ppl in here that can help me out, have u fought penance on ff10? having trouble with him, a lot of trouble in fact.

open to all those who reckon they can help

I'm afraid I can't really help you... In my Opinion, FF10 just went far too over the top with the Sidequests, and rather than doing some of them till I got bored, I opted to just complete the game and leave it at that.... So i've never attempted the boss in question.

I've edited the thread title to make sure that you get as much input from people who know what they're talking about as possible!

for now, Gamefaqs has a Boss Faq with a fairly large section about Penance... (to get to it, you may have to wait for it too load and then use the "find" command on the phrase "Part two: The ultimate boss: Penance" or simply "Penance")

That sucks, I live in the states so I wouldn't know anything about it. Hopefully that guide will help you.

cheers anyway guys, i'll check out the FAQ and see if it gives any suggestions but right now i'm at the stage after about30 attempts at it where i just cnat be bothered

survived 22mins in last attempt tho....still no where near dead
